Geckling Base

This is my open species base! Gecklings, you can make adopts, commissions or anything using this base, just credit me for the species and base

They are hybrid geckos that live in deserted areas

They tend to have very large ears , tails and hand paws to help get rid of excess body heat with the larger surface area.

They are mainly day time creatures but there have been instances of gecklings living purely under the darkness , these gecklings tend to be a lot darker in colour and a lot larger in size compared to their day time geckling cousins.

Gecklings are known to have two distinct types of ears, large vertical or horizontal ears, though some have been known to have slightly different shaped ears.

Some Gecklings are completely covered in scales while a few have been born with small tufts of fur on the ends of their ears, tails , elbows and chest.

Gecklings do not have beans on their feet paws to prevent them from burning on the hot sand.

Male Gecklings tend to have small spikes on their backs, tail and some on their face, but not all are born with this trait. Although very rare, some females can develop this trait as well but they tend to be smaller and smoother than their male counterparts.

Female Gecklings are a lot smaller than males, they also have little striped bands on their body, but again, not all of them are born with this trait. It is a lot rarer for a Male to have these striped bands.

Sun Gecklings tend to be small and lighter colours such as yellow, peach, reds and whites, but other colour variations have been found

Night Gecklings tend to be bigger and darker colours such as navy, black, greys and dark greens, but other colour variations have been found.
